STATE-OF-THE-ART DENTAL CENTER

In-House Lab

The NXT Smile Center at Grafton Dental Care has all the technology in-house that allows our team to do everything needed to keep and restore your healthy, beautiful smile – often in one day. Our in-house design, scan and manufacture even the most complex dental restorations right in our office. In addition to our in-house lab, our implant center has additional features that make every visit comfortable and life-changing. We offer Zoom whitening, digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, paperless charting, and TVs in each exam room.

nXtsmile technology

On-Site Milling Unit
With the nXtsmile system, our implant technicians work in a state-of-the-art, in-house lab to digitally design, scan, and mill our patient’s dental restorations quickly while ensuring ideal aesthetics and long-term success.

With the Roland 5 axis milling unit on-site, our lab technicians are able to manufacture the longest-lasting and most natural-looking restorations available in a surprisingly short period of time, which, of course, saves you, the patient, time and doctor visits.

This unit can mill titanium and zirconia material. Zirconia is a state-of-the-art implant material that is not only resistant to chips and fractures but also produces the natural appearance of healthy teeth and gums.

Medit i500 Intraoral 3D Scanner

We've taken the next step in the progression of delivering crowns and straightening teeth in the quickest, most advanced way possible. Our new Medit video scanner now eliminates the need to take impressions (molds) in most cases. This intraoral scanner literally takes a video scan of your mouth, providing highly accurate virtual impressions. The benefit is that we no longer need to put goopy stuff in our patients' mouths, often causing a gag reflex, to get these impressions. This scanner improves the patient experience while at the same time increasing the quality of the impressions we use for dental implants and crowns.

Sirona CBCT

Dr. Gupta’s office uses the Sirona 3D CBCT system – including a 3D cone beam scanner. In addition to a plethora of awards and accolades from the dental community, this 3D imaging system reduces the amount of radiation exposure to patients while still retaining highly diagnostic images.

High-resolution, complete 3D views give the doctor a more thorough analysis of bone structure and tooth orientation. More precise data helps the doctor plan with more confidence treatment for surgical placement of the implant and abutment to deliver more predictable, successful outcomes.

Diode Laser

They are quite effective for a host of intraoral soft tissue procedures such as gingivectomy, biopsy, impression troughing, and frenectomy. Diode lasers also exhibit bactericidal capabilities and can be used for adjunctive periodontal procedures. They also are used for laser-assisted tooth whitening. Diode lasers have excellent photobiomodulation properties as well.

Piezosurgery

This technology is the benchmark for bone surgery. The Piezosurgery device provides precision, safety, ergonomics and high quality performance for surgeons all around the world. Dr. Gupta has this in house and can perform the most complicated surgeries with ease.

Photogrammetry Scanner

Photogrammetry Scanner: Photogammetry software makes the design process effortless and painless. Photogammetry has set the highest standard for full arch accuracy in digital dentistry for dental implants. Now with this high end technology allows the doctor to go beyond a digital impression, it allows him to capture your smile and perfect design in a matter of minutes.

Formlabs’ Form 3B 3D printer

Formlabs' incredibly innovative digital workflow and 3D printers allow us to make accurate and highly reliable dental parts and biocompatible appliances, like dentures, crowns and bridges, clear retainers, and surgical guides, faster and more affordably than existing alternatives right in our office. It’s all part of Dr. Forbes’ commitment to the next generation of digital dental practices.

The DIAGNOdent™

The DIAGNOdent™ pen will show you where the decay lies. It works quickly and reliably. The laser fluorescence detector within the DIAGNOdent pen is a precise method for identifying fissure caries, proximal caries and periodontitis.

Sub-surface caries lesions can be extremely difficult to detect using an explorer, and the DIAGNOdent™ offers a perfect adjunct to the diagnostic arsenal. It is especially useful for pit and fissure areas - even when the outer tooth surface seems to be intact.
